Default Painting/ Insulating the floor

i HATE having carpets on the floor of my blazer, they're tougher to keep clean and they're a general pain in the a$$ in my opinion. so my plan is remove the carpets from the floor and put a few layers of insulation paint and then a couple coats of good ol' bedliner on top of that, maybe even a drain plus in the floor and scotch guard on the seats. has anyone removed their carpets and painted instead? my main concerns are whether i will have any issues re-installing the trim panels and console or what potential problems could arise. its an 03 4dr
Thanks as usual
