Default Painting the tire carrier: It's done, cost total too

The cost of such paint job:

T50 and T30 Torx head sockets - $8.96
1 bolt extractor for striped head - $3.36
1 can of PB Blaster - $4.96
2 packs of 320 grit wet/dry sand paper - $6.52
2 rotary Brillo pad thingy - $13.46
500' of thin wire - $3.26
2 cans of Auto primer - $7.23
2 cans of Rustoleum hammered finish spray paint - $13.95
part of a Friday night and all Saturday
2 T50 Torx head bolts (for the one I striped and one extra) - $15.36
Scratch repair kit - $22.30


Total cost: $99.36 for parts

But you should paint that exhaust tip and hitch while your at it...

(I got 2 words for ya), "Mucho Betterer"...Keep goin you`d be surprised what you can paint on these trucks and completely make them look better..I`ll be painting the black plastic trim around my rear windows poss today, I already took b4 pics of them peeling/cracking their already sanded down ready for primer and paint...

Looks much better, Is the hitch next on the agenda? lol.

Can someone PM me with how to get that back plastic off? just for future reference since I'll probably end up painting it in the future. Thanks.

From the way it looks that piece comes out with the whole window!! not by itself. When i get mine painted i`ll put the pics in my gallery ..

I was going to do them the same weekend but doing the carrier was enough for me.

thanks, the hitch is next but that's staying on to get painted (it's probably rusted on anyways) PM me too
