Default Removing Molding on Jimmy Slt

I went through the countless threads on debadging Blazers that I could find, but could not find one on Jimmys. I have a '96 Slt. Does the molding come off just like a blazer with the two sided tape or is it different? It looks like the molding is thicker and I can't tell if the body is the same on the blazers and jimmys. Thanks for any help, and if anyone has pics of a final product it would be appreciated.

Steve

Anyone?

To make that short and sweet...

1. Is the trim on my Jimmy stuck on with two sided tape.

2. Is the body for a Jimmy the same as a Blazer.

Thanks

Unfortunately, the molding isn't as simple as Blazers. I wish I had pics or a more detailed description but I believe there's some sort of 'rail' attached the length of the body that the larger molding is attached to. I can't remember if it's bolted on to the body or if the molding is bolted to the rail. I'm also not positive if the truck I saw was a GMC or Oldsmobile though. I know both models have more cladding/molding on the side than a Blazer. Underneath it all, the main body is the same though.

If there are any junkyards nearby, see if you can find a Jimmy and start tearing it apart.

Here's the only somewhat useful picture I could find. Part 5 in the top half of the page is the rail I'm thinking of. I think it's bolted to the doors

Hope that helps some
