Default Restoring Exterior Window Molding and Plastics

I want to take all the window moldings and exterior door handles on my 02 blazer and restore them to their original factory look. They were originally black, but over time they all lost their luster. the handles are not as black as they probably once were-not too bad, but blacker ones would make the truck look better. The rubber window moldings have turned a dirty gray/brown color and are somewhat spotted. I want to know how I can make these things look like new. I was thinking of spraypainting the door handles, but would this hold up over time? Also, as for the exterior window trim, if I dont want to replace them with expensive new ones, what can i use to make them look blacker? I heard of forever black- how long does this stuff last in the weather?

i use it on some of my black trim pieces. it seems to last about two months. (forever) LOL. as for the large pieces on the back of the two door blazer, i filled/painted them. you can see my post in the builds section. hope this helps.
