I have a 01 blazer with the heated mirrors does anyone have some tips on how to pull the glass out?? i cant seem to figure it out. i tried pulling it out and pulled a little too far lol (the glass broke)

 

IIRC, the glass is glued to a frame that snaps into the mirror housing,
its a good tight snap, when i was working in the auto glass buss. usually
we left the housing in place and made a template then cut the glass finished the edges and siliconed it back in place
