Default Signal light issue

Hi There

Not sure this is the right place for this!.

I have an 88 s10 blazer and when the headlights are off my drivers side fender signal flashes very faint and all the signals are fast. When the head lights are on they all flash properly but are very slow. I've changed the bulb. Does anyone have any ideas before I start too tear apart the truck?

Thanks
Mark

Sounds like there are some wires crossed in the harness somewhere. The headlights should not impact the turn signals... I would start at the driver's side signal and inspect the wiring for crossed wires. Is the driver's rear light bright with the headlights off.
