Spare mounting

Default Spare mounting
I have a 1994 S10 blazer Tahoe LT, with the interior mounted spare. I was wondering if there was any way to mount the spare underneath the frame, like my 93 S10 pickup. I want the extra room, but I really don't like the tailgate mount. Any other suggestions are welcome.

I've got a perfect functioning under body spare tire lift that I took off my truck that you could likely find a way to make work under yours.
