Default Wiring without damaging headliner/A-Pillar Cover?

Ok, so I am going to do the add-an-overhead-console mod. I got the console and full harness that goes all the way to the dash. The harness(travels across headliner and behindA-Pillar Plastic cover)includes the wires for the vanity/dome/map lights.

My question is, what is the best way to get the harness in without damaging the headliner or A-Pillar plastic cover? What tools will I need? Will I need glue?

I did search the forums, however all I found was alot of examples how to replace the headliner, which coincedently is exactly what I am trying to avoid havting to do!

I guess I still have one question though; Do all the blazers have the square holes for the console to mount? My current dome is the small square kind and I cant see to were theye would be, I dont want to cut my headliner yet if Im going to have to fabricate mounts, but I got the clips for the holes if there there. Anyone know? truck is a 96' and my underhood harness has the temp sensor plug already and the one behind the dash, for the console harness. Whats the chance the holes are already in the cieling?

*Bump*

Has anyone here put an overhead console in a blazer that didn't come with one? Are the square mounting holes in the ceiling support there already?

To finnish this up I will clarify, I did indeed find the overhead console mounting holes allready pre cut in the roof ribs. All I had to get was the 3 metal clips that go in the holes. And the 3 screws that I got with the console.

Link to another thread that discusses the wiring dilemma, and its answers. Overhead Wiring Diagram
