So the metal doesn't need any prep work besides a good wipe down

Alright cool I'll probably get started once it warms up a bit...below freezing doesn't help paint dry

this is a great idea, and should look amazing. but, you'll need to do your bumper's as well. the rock guard/bedliner will be a big contrast to the finish on your end caps/rear & front bumpers (not to mention the colour too).

like foxxie said, remove your flares so there's less taping (clearer looking when done as well). but i would scruff all of the paint on the lower sections of the body before spraying (doors/rockers/body) with a Scotch Brite pad (or something similar), just to give it some "bite".

now all you need is some warmer weather!

Well ive already painted the front bumper if you check out my build thread you can see the pics, it cam out excellent. How do you remove the fender flares? they seem really hard to remove. But, yea i was thinking about painting the entire, grayish area to black so its even all the away around. When i paint it should i take all the markings off? or paint around them?

and yea just waiting on that warm weather...lol stupid michigan
