so....about how much would a 350 engine cost???...i really dont know alot about engines but i do want a new one be cause i have a 2.8l lol... and its messing up and dont feel like fixing it becasue i was planning on buying a 350 later on anyways..so plz help me out

hmm what modifications would i have to do to the truck b4 installing a new engine..i heard i had to make the gas tank bigger or something..and how much would it cost to buy a 350 and a transmission and whatever else i would need..

You do not have to make the gas tank any bigger. Check out JagsThatRun.com for more information on what needs to be done. They literally wrote the book on this process.

As far as engine costs go, it all depends on what you can find. I will be purchasing a 1990 Suburban 2WD with a very rusty body, but 5000 miles on a rebuilt motor (TBI 350) and transmission (700R4) for $200. Pull the engine and trans and scrap the rest for a net purchase price of ~$100. Deals like that do not come along everyday, but they are out there.
