Default 95 blazer gears

i have a 95 4.3 motor. its 4x4. what size gears come in the rear end? and what size can i change them to make my truck a little faster?

you have a 4x4, if you change one, you HAVE to change both. other wise the first time you put it in 4 wheel drive, either high or low, you will pretty much split your transfer case in half and cost yourself pounds of money. notice i wrote pounds of money.

You can look at the RPO in your glove box to find which gear set your truck came with. There's 4 options for the S-series trucks:
- GU4 3.08
- GU6 3.42
- GT4 3.73
- GT5 4.10
