you can fit 35s on stock suspension, didnt have to remove the fenders just most of them

surprisingly i never broke cv joints with those tires but i took very wide turns cause the cv joints banged when i turned the wheel so i tried to keep it straight all the time. i eventually put 33s on it and then the cv joints gave way

Any chance you could post a pic? I'm perfectly happy to trim the wheel wells, and even replace the front inner wells. I am however hesitant to cut out the rear inner wells and custom build, only because of everything being fitted together inside (rear seat, side consoles, ect. ) I have a family that rides in this rig with me and I need the rear seat to work properly. Does anybody know how much tire can be stuffed under the rear end with only a 2 inch shackle lift and trimming the rear fenders out as much as possible without affecting the inner wheel wells? Any information would be helpful and pics would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!!!!

heres a pic of the day i did it, all nice and clean

and after a few uses

later on down the road i put a set of 33s on it cause the body started to split and rub the tires alot more. also the way the cv joints were banging around i figured it might help that last a bit longer

You weren't kidding about not much fender left, looks sick though. I'm thinking about a 2.5 inch lift and trim the fenders to get my 33's. What do you guys think? Anybody know anything about the rough country suspension lift kit? Any input would be great as this is my first time lifting an ifs rig, LOVE these little blazers and the versatility of them but I've gotta keep it street drivable as it is my daily commuter rig. If it wasn't for that I would probably just sfa swap it and call it good. Thanks again for all the help and I look forward to reading more cool stuff.

I have the 2.5 RC lift. When the bars are cranked to their "21" inches of ride hight, my CV shafts arn't even bent lol, I haven't seen them straight in a coons age!

a 2 inch lift is rough on the cv joints unless you drop down the front carrier too. that 3rd pic i posted with the 33 inch thornbirds, i bought those off a guy who was running them on a 3inch body lift. i think he rubbed offroad but he did drive it to the offroad events
