I don't understand why people take their 4-door blazer's into stuff like that. It's not what those are made for.

 

Technically neither is a 2 door non-ZR2... lots of people who buy a 4X4 buy it so they can go offroading like that. Maybe they just prefer having 4 doors, or have kids so 4 doors make it easier.

 

If my 4 door wasn't made for off-roading, then why does it have 4x4 and aluminum skid plates front to back and a G80. Just because it isn't purpose built, doesn't mean you can't have a little fun.

 

My buddy that owns the four door just started four wheeling, he's like 19 and just has no idea what he's doing so my brother offered to go with him to show him a thing or two, and the kid that owns the jeep is still in high school and also just getting into wheeling so they are learning which is cool keeping it alive in my area..... the four door does actually really well he's just not that skilled at driving in the woods yet, if he had gears like 411's he would do absolutely great, but he'll learn and i'll just have to keep rescuing him lol.

 

Heck, my 4-door with da G80 does great off-road with street tires. I can hit and get out of most mud holes.

 

I dunno, I think that was just kind of a jerk comment, brendan. Anybody can go four wheeling in a 4x4.
