4WD 99 Blazer Static 4" Drop NEED SHOCKS
#12
I have a question for you Chrome ... did removing the front driveshaft make your Blazer a RWD vehicle only? ... Reason i ask im putting 16" ZQ8 Xtreme rims on my Blazer and dont want 4x4 anymore on it since its a daily driver and i have converted it over to a 4dr Xtreme Clone ... i may drop it 2" from stock height but still kicking that around ... if you want send me a pm on how to do the front driveshaft

Basically, yes. But only take that in the sense that only the rear wheels are being turned instead of all four. Most of the restrictions on 4X4 models will still apply, such as the suspension type, etc. And I wish I could send you a how to on that, but we had someone take it out professionally. As for its removal's effect on ride height, I lowered the rear with 2" blocks, plus any effect of the weight of a large system, and it is level with the front, which only had the front driveshaft removed and nothing else.
