Default 4x4 gear 4.10, 4.57, 4.88 and axel help

i dont know to much about gears and axels. This is first 4x4 build. i have a 83 k5 blazer. it had a sb 305/700r4. it has been replaced with a Sb 406 ci/700r4 all roller, aluminum afr heads 195 cfm 2.05 /1.60 and 10.1 compression air gap intake, 770 cfm holly vac. 2nd, msd hei distributor, headers, dull 3" stainless exhaust anyways i can go on and on. i was told it was going to make 450 to 500 hp and 500 to 550 foot pounds. i dont have a dyno so in not 100% sure what the # are

i have 37" 13.50 Mickey ATZ on 18 in wheels and i dont know what axel or gears to run i was thinking of the 14 bsf rear cause its six lug like my wheels. if i can find one and maybe 4.56 w/locker. and 10 bolt Front w/limited slip 4.56

The blazer is not my daily driver, it will be used in mud, sand and maybe some rocks. and to cruse the beach spring brake and other events their. I live 60 miles from the beach so it will be driven on the hwy and i dont want to turn over 2500 rpm at 75 mph

i have some cash not endless amounts i want to keep the cost as low as possible on the axels and gears but i dont want to worry about anything braking when i mash on the gas!

any suggestions will be appreciated thanks

I'm no axle expert but I would recommend using a Dana 60 up front with the size tires you plan on running, particularly if you plan on using the skinny pedal with even a small bit of abandon. I "think" the 14 bolt will be okay. A Dana 60 or 70 would be better.

Again, not a gear expert, either but I would go with 4.88 gears rather than 4.56 gears. 4.56s you will like on the highway but not off road. Too high of a gear ratio for 37's. 4.88's will be just fine both onroad and off.

thanks for the replay AJ

with 4.88 you dont think the rmp will be to high on the hyw, i have a 700r4 od trans. i dont want to turn that sb 406 to high. does the dana 60 come in six lug. and how much would it cost to build one gears and limited slip for front. does not half to be a exact cost just a estaminet. like i said i dont know to much when it comes to axels thanks.
