97 blazer detroit lockers??
ok hear is the deal, i just bought my first blazer its a 97 4x4. the guy i got it from said the front and rear axle leaked around the dif cover. well he says he had a shop put new 3.55 gears in and detroit lockers in front and rear. well if im in the mud both rear tire lock up but my front from what i can see never do. i wanted to know if there is a way to tell if i even have a locker in the front without taking it apart.? thanks in advance.

Well if someone put a locker in the IFS they are lacking in the brains department.. IFS isnt strong enough for a locker so i doubt a shop did it and i also dont think there is a locker that will fit in there. but i suppose anything is possible

There is one locker available for the front.
Is it always the same front tire spinning? Or does it alternate depending on situation?
If it is the same one spinning all the time (should be drivers side), I'd say you probably have a front locker but your front axle isn't engaging.
If it alternates which front tire is spinning then the front axle is engaging but you just have an open front diff.
