98FWD Blazer poor R. turns and resistance
Hey all,
I have a 98 blazer, FWD four door automatic. While turning it began to make a clunk, which hasn't gone away. When I make a right turn(as if into a parking spot) there is some resistance and I've lost turning radius. I assumed it was a half shaft due to the audible noise and initial throttle resistance, but I lifted the front end and everything rotates freely, and everything appears fine.
Power steering isn't leaking and is full of fluid, belt is good, no play in the wheels. I'm still thinking its the half shaft and that with no pressure on the wheel the symptoms go away.
Any thoughts? Thanks.
