Considering that you do not have coil springs up front, adding heavy duty coil springs would be a feat.

You could tighten the torsion bar while you have the plow on and then loosen it back up when you take the plow off. This works quite well for my dad's '04 2500HD.

If you wanted to swap out the torsion bars, there were a few different front torsion bars available as a direct swap into the s-series front suspension. Just have a read through the following thread: How-To: T-bar Crank I just put that information is at the bottom of the article.

Not to sound stupid but is your truck 4wd or 2wd. I figure since it has a plow its a 4x but you had no specs on your truck and if its a 2wd then you have coil springs up front and thats a horse of a different color. I hope I did not offend you with my question.

OK like SWARTLIKK said its the easiest and cheapest way to go and when you take the plow off you can easily lower it back down.Good luck.

I've had the same problem when it's colder. Nothing huge, maybe a second, but it looks funny in the parking lot with a little rev and then spinning tires. Let me know if that helps.
