Air pressure Grabriel
Good day,
I have a silly question,I've installed my new Gabriel air shock(hijackers), with the air lines,etc..BUT when I try to put air, nothing happens!?!They where bought in Ebay.
Maybe the pressure was to low in the gaz station compressor?
The instructions where crappy.I had to figure it out myself for the Hoses installation in the shock itself.

Mostlikely you have a leak somewhere between the valve and the shock. I would recheck all of your connections by spraying them down with soapy water.
Did you run them both to a single fill valve or did you keep them separated?

I have a T connector.They both connect.

I know what they are... I've installed more than a few of these on various vehicles.
If you can't get them to pump up, then you either have a leak or the shrader valve (air valve at the 'T') is not opening to allow the air in... If, when you put the air hose to it, you can hear air flowing, then you have a leak.
With them both connected together, it'll be a bit more difficult to locate the leak. It is possible that the air bladder in one or both of the shocks is leaking as well. Manufacturing defects do occur.

I will go to my local performance shop and pay the guy for his time and have them checked since its my first time with air shocks.
If you don't mind me asking Swartlkk,are these models good?

They are very good shocks, but as with any air shock, they have a limited life. Especially if you live in a dusty climate. The dust will work its way in between the bladder and the body of the shock.
I chose to go with spring over assist shocks on my Bravada simply due to that fact. Only downside to spring over assist shocks is that they are always adding that spring rate. With air shocks, you can air up before you load it up, then air down once you've unloaded it. Ride quality won't be affected.
When you try to put air into them, it should sound much like putting air into a tire. Does the 'T' have a schrader valve in it (same valve used on a tire)?
