Air ride suspension
Bought 2000 GMC jimmy a few months ago really like unit but it rides really ruff. Ordered new shocks looked under truck found air bags on rear that seem to be maxed out tried to find info on air ride supp. On how to reset or if it has load level valve could find little info on system any help would be helpfull

Is it a factory air ride suspension, or an aftermarket add-on air shocks? You may have to do a RPO readout using your VIN to determine what was the original equipment.
If it's a factory air ride suspension, Christine is probably right that sagging leaf springs are causing the air levelling system to work harder giving a stiffer ride. It is also possible that the load level switch is broken or jammed, causing the air system to over-inflate the air shocks. I believe it's an arm that connects from the center of the axle to the body above the axle. Maybe check to see if the air system is functioning correctly, and shuts off when a certain height is achieved?

I have a 1999 service manual in which I could see what I find about this system.
For now here is a page that has an exploded parts diagram of the stock air ride suspension dated from 1998. Perhaps it could help in at least identifying what you have.

I am not computer person per last message does any one in the USA now any thing about my problem with air ride susp. Surely someone has worked at GMC or has seen problem before does any one know of better web sight ?
Maybe if you could post a couple of pictures of your rear suspension, somebody here could tell you if it's from the factory or not. If it's an aftermarket add-on system, there might be a Shrader valve (tire-type valve) somewhere to adjust the air pressure.
