I have owned 3 first gens and all three had the full group of shields in aluminum. I will almost bet they would fit a second gen, So next time your in the bone yard look over the first gens too.

1st Gen plates have to be altered to fit.

I think that price is for a full set .. . Minus the gas tank plate.

I believe the second on is actually an engine plate... that's the only one I'm missing from my set... there's a lady selling a set minus the gas tank for 100$, about 2 hours away... might make the trip... then I'll sell the other 2 for 50 a piece...

I call that 2nd one an oil pan plate, only cause is covers the oil pan. I suppose it is a front diff plate, though.

Sounds like a good plan! Someone will buy those. Make sure you get the brackets for it. If not, some angle iron would work.
