Default Another 'what's this' thread

I was down under checking on a small oil leak and noticed this little bracket???....I have not idea what it's for.......?? It doesn't look like it has ever been used for anything.....maybe something for zr2 suspension??

I suspect it is for mounting a steering stabilizer/shock. I looked into installing one and at least for the one I found, it came with bracket only for one end and I assumed that was because it was to be mounted to the bracket you found.

Ok, well, I guess it will just continue living the easy life.....

She's right. Factory steering shock mount , if equipped from the factory the center drag link would have a hole to mount the other end in.

I have 31s on my 4x4 rx7, {avatar pic.} with the 31s i ended up with a little bit of ducking and diving, I had the center drag link with the hole along with the shock in my spare parts pile, installed it and added my own frame brackets, it worked well it took care of all the dodging around
