Ball Joints or control arms & complete kit?

I lucked out and found some cheap brand upper control arms with ball joints and bushings installed, came up to about the same as the ball joint and bushings alone.
But as you stated that you drive fairly hard on it, I would look into a little better quality ball joints and bushings....

For myself, I went with autoshack.com, many others use rockauto.com. the work itself is not too hard, you'll be able to do it in a day.
make sure your note the direction of the chamber bolts when uninstalling. They are important for alignment afterwards. Double check tightness of bolts with proper torque, and recheck after 3 months(manufacturers fine print, and good practice)
