Best gear ratio for 31s?

Darn, I really wanted to keep my mpgs. Any other options?

Try to find something in between.....like 3:90's. Might be a little more expensive since that size isn't real popular. But the choice in gears also depends on what rear end and axles you have.

Not really any options. I think you have the best gears right now for fuel economy. 3.42 gears may give you slightly better mileage, but not enough to be worth doing. 4.10 would give you a little better performance, but at the expense of a little fuel mileage.

The only way to save money on gas is to leave the Blazer at home and drive a car. I am lucky if I get 17mpg on the highway in the Blazer driving like an old man, I take the car and it get 30mpg driving like Mario Andretti, 40 if I drive normal.
