Default blazer "rolls" back and forth over highway bumps

I have a 2000 ZR2 - I put new front shocks on it last year, and I just had the upper and lower balljoints replaced, the idler arm replaced and both wheel hub assemblies replaced as well as had the front end aligned. The problem I have now is that the blazer rolls from side to side when going over highway bumps but keeps good control and stays planted to the ground - it just feels like you're on a rollercoaster and the vehicle sways from side to side before settling back down after hitting uneven patches of pavement on the highway. The mechanic never said anything about my sway bar being bad or anything. Does anyone have any ideas on what this could be?

It sounds like it there might be a problem with either the sway bar bushings or the sway bar`s themselves.

I believe you are correct - upon inspection today I see that the end links are bad. I'll replace both those and bushings and see if that fixes it - it should.

Yes..The sway bar does what it say`s..It keeps the vehicle from swaying side to side. Not front to back.Front to back is controlled by the front springs, rear springs, shocks.Make sure you have sway bars front and back, check to make sure their not cracked any where`s.

It's pretty stout but will check it when I take it off to change bushings. Thanks for your help!
