hello i have a 98 gmc jimmy 2wd i just purchased a rear end out of a olds bravada i was just wondering if it is a posi and will it bolt right into my jimmy any info is greatly appreciated thank you

 

oh yeah not sure what year the olds was but it was a third gen

 

I believe you will need the RPO codes of the truck it came off to know that or open it up to look at the components inside

 

but wouldnt it have to be posi the olds was 4x4 the truck was a rollover so i couldnt get in to look in the glovebox

 

Someone that knows Bravadas better will answer but you say is from a 3rd gen Bravada if it is I believe the suspension is different, they are coil springs the blazer is leaf springs so it wouldn't be a bolt on and the are wider.
