Default Did alot of searching

Did alot of searching on this forum and found out alot of great stuff but not what I need. Had trouble with 4 wd and after searching found out that my tccm wires were corroded and one bad wire. Well I got a different tccm and 4wd works but with some issues.

First off while running I push the 4wheel hi button and it goes right to 4 wheel auto. Also no 4 wheel lo at all. To get back into 2 wheel hi I have to shut it off (the vehicle) and switch it. The actuator under the battery seems good (blew in it and held). Maybe the the vacumn switch on the firewall?

I should also add that with the engine off everything works as it should except the 4wd lights blinking because no vacumn. You can here the encoder switching on the transfer case. I guess I am running out of ideas except for the vacumn switch on the firewall.

Any help would be great. Thanks

Well I replaced the vacumn switch and still no dice. Don't know where to try next. Anybody have any ideas to try before I pull my hair out?

What are you working on here? Year? 3-button or 4-button switch in the dash? Having to ask those questions really gets old, but in order to get help, you really must include that information.

Sorry should have put 4 button switch on the dash. But in my defense in my first post I said it went into 4 wheel auto. But I should have made it more clear. Especially if i'm trying to get help.
