Duralast vs. Moog

Hey all! I'm getting ready to do some work on the front suspension of my stock 2000 Blazer LS 4x4. It needs ball joints (upper and lower), Idler arm, upper control arm bushings and i'm going to go ahead and put new shocks in while i have it torn apart. My question is...Do i cheap out and get Autozone's Duralast parts or spend the money on Moog parts? And, before you all state the obvious, I know the moog parts are better overall, but this is my daily driver that RARELY sees any un-paved terrain. I would love to put the moog parts in, but after pricing them out, they are 3X the price of just about everything else. Does anyone have any experience with duralast suspension parts (good or bad)? Thanks for any advice you can give!

moog carries a lifetime warranty
Moog also has "problem solver" items to replace things like idler arms that others cant build tough enough to last
Check with your local jobber ,see if they can give you trade pricing

I wouldn't even put duralast parts on a vehicle I was gonna sell. Ball joint failure at 65 mph is not fun. However, I use raybestos pro grade parts for suspension now. They carry a lifetime warranty for the part and any labor cost if you have a shop install them. Moog has been farming work out to mexico and the quality isn't the same.

Thanks for the input guys! I kind of already knew the answer to that. I just needed some affirmations to not be cheap and regret it. Lol. I actually found all the moog parts online at rockauto.com for almost as cheap as the duralast. I'm always weary of buying online though. What happens if/when a warranty issue arises? What do you guys think?

i would contact rockauto about the warranty questions.
i have dealt with them several times over the phone...all questions and one wrong sent part. always an english speaking person and very helpful.

Thanks again for the input everyone. I did a little digging on rockauto.com and it looks like they handle all the warranty claims. I would probably have to pay return shipping, but i don't think it'll be that bad IF anything comes up. I think I will end up buying from them since it's saving me over $200 over the retailers around here. I was talking to my brother in Florida and he was shocked to see how expensive the parts were here (Ohio) compared to where he's at.
