Default front diff ???

I was wondering what is the hardest part of taking out a front differential out of a 97 blazer?

Default RE: front diff ???

There really isn't anything too complicated about removing the front differential... You basically just take things apart. You will need to disconnect the front drive shaft. Disconnect the front axle engagement cable. Next is how I would do it... Disconnect the lower ball joint, then pull the front CV shafts from the front diff. Do this on both sides. You then may have a breather tube and remove the bolts holding the diff to the frame and lower it down and out.
