Default Front Diff Gaskets

So, I had to pull the front passenger axle tube off to make a repair at the coupling. Got that done, and put back together. I noticed when I pulled it off the diff, there was no gasket, and no gasket where the cable housing attaches to the axle tube.

I put some gasket maker on the diff-axle tube connection, but not on the cable housing. Now, it's leaking.

My question is, are there actual gaskets made for those locations? Or is it like the oil pan on my cobalt, no gasket exists, just use permatex?

I don't remember there being a gasket there. It's been a while but I believe I just used rtv to seal it up. I found this picture and it looks to me that it's just an rtv type sealer that is on there

Thanks for the response. Looks like I need to add some more rtv
