Default Front Hubs??

Hi, when im driving about 15mph+ im getting a continual humm from one of the front hubs, its all the time i thought at first it was a gearbox problem but shifted into N at 30mph and the humm was still there (we have center console shifts on UK Blazers) i take it this must be the famous bearing problem?, whats the simple home technique to see its ir right or left hand hub?

jack the front tire off the ground and wiggle your wheel up and down and towards you, if there is play up and down on or the other way I mentioned its time to replace the hubs

or if you're hubs were as bad as mine were your wheels will just kinda fold out when you jack it up...

Not that many off road tracks here the mines probably damage in the local shopping mall car park speed humps lol,,,i will have to order the part from one of few US Auto suppliers here, your ok if you drive Jeep as most towns here have a jeep dealer, Blazer stuff has to be special mail order.
