So i hava an iron front diff from a 98 s10 and i was looking to get a locker for it. I have been searching alot but most that i come across have dead links and my google fu has been providing stuff for mopars. Do they even make anything for this axle anymore or is it a lost cause.

 

Dont quote me, but I thought they made one, someone was talking about it not too l g ago, someone will probably chime in soon...

 

Be aware that if you do run a locker in it (unless it's selectable), your front driveshaft will spin all the time, even in two wheel drive. Not a huge deal, but it will cause some additional wear and a slight reduction in gas mileage.

 

I mean i run a bravada shaft so it already does, just hoping that there is something out there cause it seems like all the locker stuff for 7.2 has been discontinued.

 

Yeah, I just looked and I can't find anything either. Not even a limited-slip. Plenty available for a Dana 30, though, if you wanted to put an equivalent solid axle up front.

 

I seen this but its not for a gm so it prolly wont work.
