Grinding vibrating when it dips

you are correct... but he was referring to the front drive shaft which is stationary.. not half shafts.

I stand corrected, the front drive shaft shouldn't move with jounce & rebound. But the half shafts do, and something may be contacting them. Checking front chassis ride height wouldn't be a bad idea.

ride height would help him...but alas, it's lowered...

Exactly my point. The problem is, we don't know if it has a body lowering kit, or a suspension lowering kit, or a combination of the two.

OK.. I lowered this over 2 years ago. Did not do this for 2 years. Rode smooth. Just started doing this a while back. checked ride height nothing has changed. I so no points of contact.

I am thinking the bearing is moving and causing the rotor to grind if you will.

For fun I can raise the thing back up to stock top see if it goes away. Takes about an hour.

have you checked the wheel bearing? ABS light on is how my Blazer usually 'told' me it was time for a new wheel bearing.

Wheel bearings and CV axles are what I'd suspect first given your discription.
