Gu6 g80?

Default Gu6 g80?

I had no idea that some blazers came with a g80 locker and 3.42 gears. my buddy found one at the J/y. can anyone help me out? what models came with the 3.42 g80 gu6???

my 93 2wd 4 door has it.

Without the build sheet how can you tell. Most of the pik n save Blazers have the dash ripped to shreads

My 2000 4 door 4x4 blazer has that same setup too.

You can't without opening up the rear end. Aside from a visual inspection, verification from the RPO sheet or VIN breakdown there are no other means of knowing what the truck came with.

You can kinda tell the ratio by spinning the tires one revolution and counting the number of times the drive shaft rotates. if it spins three and a half times, roughly, it's probably a 3.42. If it's closer to three and three quarters times, it's a 3.73. There's not really a way to tell if it has the G80, though, without the rpo sheet, or opening the diff up.

yea i know what i need to look for i just didnt know if there was a specific model that all had them or something. guess im going to the pull yard lol!

good luck! Although even if you do find a g80, no guarantee it will work. Mine doesn't.
