^Exactly since the steering geometry is nearer the lower control arms.

It does not matter if it is nearer the lower control arms... Those components only modify Toe. Not camber which with the suspension setups on these trucks is modified by moving the pivot point at the front and back of the upper control arm. Moving both of the upper control arm pivot points at the same time modifies camber only. Moving one will modify both camber and caster (the alignment of the ball joint centerlines in the steering knuckle from vertical), but caster more than camber.
