Default Help with Clutch cable replacement

Hey there folks, I was driving down the road the other day and my clutch pedal fell to the floor. I ordered myself a new Upper Clutch Cable and it finally came today. I've got it hooked up to the clutch lever under the hood but am having some trouble connecting it to the clutch pedal itself. So far I've been able to remove the main bolt keeping the clutch pedal in place and the sensor connected to the pedal. However I can't seem to figure out how to pull the clutch pedal out of position.

I've looked online for a diagram and I have a Chilton's, but I cant for the life of me seem to find a good diagram or explanation of how to go about attaching the cable to the pedal.
