How do I tell if I have a rear locker?

Default How do I tell if I have a rear locker?

hey,
I was wondering if my stock 2002 blazer 2wd 2 dr, has a locking read dif. i saw some videos on youtube of a black 2wd 2dr blazer with a locking rear. in the video, he says that it is all stock. so i was wondering how do i tell if i have a rear locker??

My k30 has a govlock in it. When you jack the truck up and put it in neutral start spinning one of the rear tires it starts making a clicking sound and spin even faster and it will engage the rear tire. Or pull off the cover and look works too

Or look at the RPO code label on the inside of the glovebox door. If it has 'G80' then you have the govlock rearend. If it doesn't, then you don't.

o ok i just went and looked, it says gu6... so im guessing not.

what does gu6 stand for??

thanks for the help!!
