Took the passenger side hub assembly off again, turns out the ring may of been the remains of the old hub assembly. My theory being it snapped off when I hit the CV end with a hammer (there was wood between it and the hammer, no metal to metal). It is done!

Now I really hope the abs light goes off, taking this to school in Michigan's UP and need it for the winter. As of now the light is still on.
