Leaf springs and Shocks
#31
So I finally got my hands on the 4600s.
The front shocks, 24-014120, are 17 inches compressed I'm assuming compressed because of the zip tie around it in the box.
The rear shocks, 24-018197, are 25 inches compressed, also zip tied. I didn't bother to measure them extended because I didn't want to cut the ties, but I am pretty sure that they'll fit now considering that the RC N3 shocks are 13 inches compressed for the front and 15 inches compressed for the rear.
I've never really dealt with any suspension work before or messed with shocks myself so I'm assuming these measurements for the Bilsteins are correct and they did not extend in the boxes despite being zip tied down. Hopefully I'll have these put on in the next week or so and I'll know for sure.

I am pleased to confirm that the Bilsteins fit perfectly on the Blazer. So ZR2 OEMs will fit fine on those of our trucks with the Rough Country 2.5 inch lift.
The RC N3s that were taken out looked like crap too, I couldn't believe it. The ride with the Bilsteins is so much firmer and nicer now. I'm glad I shelled out for them.

You're welcome. I'll update the OP as well in case anyone else comes looking.

I just ordered the exact same shocks and rescheduled my lift installation appointment to wait for the shock delivery. Thanks again man I really appreciate the help in your thread.

I got another question for you..seeing as how you're basically doing the same things to your truck as me and mine right now..are you still looking into switching out your coil springs as well? I look on 4WheelParts and I see some 3" options but again I'm not savvy when it comes to this stuff.

I don't have coil springs on mine, it's a 4x4. Neither should you.
I got my springs off a guy on storefront on ebay that was selling all four as a package deal : https://www.ebay.com/itm/Bilstein-94...7/262997075870
