Default Leveling rear alright with these tires?

I just got some 20's with a 255/40/r20 tire. After putting them on, I didnt like how much wheel well space was showing in the rear. So my question is if i level the rear with 2" blocks will the tires rub? I dont want to lower it and then have to buy new tires. thanks

You can lower it 2inch without rubbing issues i have mine lowered 4inches in the rear with a 225/40r18 tire and rim and I don't rub!! So with a 20 you can go 2inches just fine!!

thegr81, how do you manage to pull off not rubbing with 18's? or do you slow down for slight road imperfections? i have 17's and if i hit the rr x-ing below my house over 30 i rub. granted the lowering job is only about 4 years younger than me(almost as old as the blazer itself), and home made. lol

I don't slow down for anything, I left all my leaf springs in the back and trimmed a lil of the bump stop off the bottom of it and in the front I cut the springs a lilbit at a time till I got the height I wanted!! The only rubbing I have is when I turn only cause of the offset on the wheels which isn't a big deal I can still turn pretty good just not lock to lock!! Oh by the way I am running 225/40r18's for tires!!
