Default "lift" opinions

Alright well I guess this is the right place to post this. I want my blazer to be higher. 99 2 door with 4 wheel drive. Which is the better option.. t bar crank + 2" shackles or 2" body lift?

depends on what you mean by better.
what are you long term goals?

torsion crank and shackles is roughly half the price of a body lift.
body lift wont add extra wear on suspension parts though.

its a trade off.

with the torsion crank if you stay at 1.5 above where your at you should be fine. just be aware that the boots on the cv shafts can slip off, not a big deal if you fix it right away.

My vote is t bar crank and shackles. But I'm a bias because thats what I did with mine. Made mine look sharp, not too tall, but definitely higher than stock. Stick some 31's under her and I think you'll like it. I do. Just be aware that you MIGHT need longer rear shocks. Mine are maxed out. Shocks from a Chevy Z71 pickup fit perfectly though.

I see. I was thinkint about both, but I am on a budget. I will probably end up doing the t bar crank though. It would be a little while before I do either one though. Thanks for all the input!
