lifting an 89 full size
planning on lifting a full size blazer, 350 TBI, 1989.
6' susp, with 35 inch tires, any tips, or hints, or even tricks or cheap lifts.. i am thinking about getting blocks for the front and back, and just doing that, but im not sure was about drive shafts... lol.. any help will be apreciated... will be used in mud and rock.. lol
not planning on doing a body lift for a cuple years..

Well i have a 84 pickupo, same frame and the k5. I got a rough country lift for like $350 w/ new front springs. I wouldnt do blocks in the front if you are on a trail you might get some bad axle wrap. And i only have a 4" and have 35s with a lil room for a bigger tire. the lift i bought can with shocks which is a plus

Yeah blocks in the front are bad news. My brother runs 4in springs in the front, shackle flip in the rear and36s.

I installed new front and rear springs (B&D) for a 6" lift, front and rear. I haven't had any problems with driveline angles.
