Default Loose steering wheel

Ok so I just replaced most of my steering components upfront. Idler, tie rods and center link. Did a diy alinment and it drives pretty straight, even made a 200+ mile trip over a pass and did fine. But the steering wheel was turned in a way that I couldn't see the speedo at 40+ mph. So I pulled the wheel and put it back on so it's sitting right and I can see my instrument cluster. Now the whole steering wheel wobbles... Can't figure out why. And yes I made sure the wheels were straight b4 I pulled steering wheel

Did you check the rag-joint? This is the thing the couples the lower steering wheel shaft to the steering gear box.

Yes I checked the rag wheel. And just to clarify its the actual steering wheel that is wobbling on the steering column. About to pull it off again and check the screws for the mount behind the steering wheel.

My steering is looser than I prefer but my mechanic told me the best way to firm it up is to get a steering box out of a Corvette or Camaro.
