Default New 4 wheel motor

So after playing around with my 4x4 and speaking with my mechanic I am pretty sure my 4 wheel motor went. Was wondering how much it would be for a motor$$$ and how complicated and inconvenient they are to install?? Seeing if I could possibly give it a run- could be outside the box on this one though. Any answers?

Now by 4x4 motor, do you mean the ENCODER motor? If that's the case, I just picked one up BRAND NEW on E-Bay for $189.00 + shipping. Just type in(your year Chevy Blazer)transfer case encoder motor into their search engine and you'll see!
