rear end swap 96 blazer w/drum brakes with 2001 w/disks
The only concern I have is brakes(kinda need them to work right). I don't know off the top of my head but i'm not sure if the fluid transfer is the same for drums to disk. The other problem I possibly forsee is the ABS systems are different to my knowledge. The drums use only front ABS valves, whereas the disk have one valve for both front wheels and one valve for the back. This wouldn't affect much I think but disk brakes have more stopping power then drums so be aware of that on icy conditions.
I think the proportioning valve will have to be swapped in as well from the disc brake model. Or adjust your stock one...but I'm not sure how that works.
Not sure about the ABS though...I mean the front does the majority of the stopping anyway, how much ABS action hits the rear end?
Edit: Not sure about alot of this apparently...hahh..
