I have a 98 4x4 blazer that developed a thud noise from the right rear tire. The noise only happens when hitting bumps. All bolts an spare tire are tight. Muffler is a little loose but not enough to make this noise. Shocks have been replaced within last 5 months. Could a dying rear end cause this noise only when you hit bumps? If so any diagnostic trick?
