Default rough country 2inch lift kit

do those rough country 2" lifts affect any brake lines or sway bar links i know they wear ball joints just like stock other than that is there any other problems
mine is a 97 jimmy and i am only going to run 31 bf all terrains on American racing baja wheels very close to stock wheel specs or will i have to run 30s (its a daily driver not tones of off roading )

I dont think it affects any of that, and the kit is designed with repositioned ball joint mounts so accually you will have less wear with the kit. The kit consists of new upper control arms with the repositioned mounts aswell as shackles and other parts, but the kit pretty much is the same as just cranking your torsion bars, just with the better ball mounts, thats the only benifit to the kit.

so is it worth doing or just stick with stock suspension and 30 inch tires (this thing sees 7000km a year and 90 percent of its pavement )

Well it depends on what you want to do, if you dont want to spend the 400 bucks you can do the same thing for a few hundred dollars. All you would have to do is crank your torsion bars up to 1.5 inches and get 1.5-2 inch shackles in the rear. It gives you the same lift as the rough country lift but the catch is that your ball joints and CV's will wear down a bit more faster than usual. Another route you can take would be a 2" body lift, its a bit more complex to install but you dont have to worry about suspention parts wearing down any faster.
