Yup, they are basically just bolted to the lower control arm




and as for getting the old ones off, try adding some heat, heat solves everything, unless its something that could start on fire (which in your case, the sway bar wont, and the bushings might, but you are not reusing them anyways, just keep water handy near by)

I would cut them off with a grinder if you have the room.

or torch, or whatever you can get in there. i was hoping that when i seen the first post in this thread that the end links fell off, getting the old ones out is always the hardest part.

I used a sawzall to get mine off.

Well...I tried the sawzall yesterday to no avail. I couldn't get it to cut through the metal.

I'm going to try and use a right angle grinder, and if that doesn't work...a torch.

Can't believe how difficult this is!!

Get a metal blade mine went right through it like it was nothing.
