1997 4.3 4l60e. lights on dash come on for the tranfer case, ok now i have truck in neutral, truck running, push button for 2 hi, light on 2 hi just blinks i dont hear nothing, will not shift, ok is the encoder motor out , and is there away to manually shift it to 2 hi?

update...... checked the wiring at the encoder plug. gettin 5,0 volts


update....... i pulled the encoder motor off, was able to move tranfer case to 2 hi. my friemd has a used encoder motor he said he would sale it to me for 20.00.. im gettin it,
