Also if I do the 2 inch lift shackle out back is there a slightly better way to lift the front.

It is a lot of pissing around. It prob took me 10 hours by myself. I know I used an entire Saturday anyway. Benefit of the body lift though is its cheap. Suspension kits were more plus an alignment so I didn't go that route. One nice thing I would appreciate from the susp kits would be the increased ground clearance.

Your easiest and cheapest route for the front is tbar crank. Anything else will require money and time. Simple as that.

The advantage of a body lift kit vs a t-bar crank is that it keeps the factory suspension and driveline in normal spec. That being said you can combine a t-bar crank with a body lift when necessary to get more lift if need.

I just went from 235/75r15 to 265/75r16 and no lift at all. Just a little cutting of the front bumper valance and the rear of the fender. I am putting new shocks on soon and getting alignment and tbars cranked. So far no rubbing but I havent taken it off road just around town from work and back and its all good. 265/75 are bigger than 31's.

I put my old 31s on a factory height blazer the other day. The chick wanted them but I tried to warn her they would rub really bad and she insisted!. I told her that cutting the fenders would help but without some lift she's going to be rubbing all the time. She said can you cut my fenders and I said sure for a $100 hoping she would just say nevermind and leave since I had 4 other people in line to buy the wheels but she said ok do it so I took about 2.5" of the back of her fenders and made a nice angle cut on the driver side bumper valence(passenger side was busted off) threw the wheels on gave her some advice on the proper way to fit the wheels, collected my money and she was off!
